About the Tip Sheets
Greetings, searchers! This blog is the home for a new initiative of the User Experience Caucus of the Medical Library Association: the Database Tip Sheets.
The Tip Sheets are bite-size tips for expert searchers on how to search more efficiently. If you'd like to contribute a tip or be added as a contributor to the blog, email Kate Saylor at: kmacdoug at umich.edu.
How to subscribe
Blogger no longer supports email subscription. We suggest setting up an account with an RSS reader service like Feedly, NewsBlur, Inoreader, The Old Reader, Zotero, or Feede, and use a link like one of these:- Atom 1.0: http://uxcaucustips.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
- RSS 2.0: http://uxcaucustips.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?alt=rss
Outlook also supports an RSS Feed Folder. Visit this Microsoft Support page for more information about setting up an RSS feed in Outlook.
Aaron Tay's Musings about Librarianship (http://musingsaboutlibrarianship.blogspot.com/) also seems to be based on Blogger but has a subscribe by email option?
ReplyDeleteThanks for this! I just looked into and it appears that Musings uses "Follow It." I will look into it ASAP! https://sofanmax.blogspot.com/2021/04/how-to-use-followit-to-replace-feedburner.html
ReplyDeleteThanks Kate. An alternative to those who don't use RSS, is to use website change monitoring browser extensions like Distill Web Monitor or PageProbe (see https://www.johila.org/index.php/Johila/article/view/143/212 for more details)
